A bond is a fixed income investment in which an investor loans money to an entity (typically corporate or governmental) which borrows the funds for a defined period at a variable or fixed interest rate. So, in addition to the predictable coupon payments, there is the potential for capital gains.

Bonds are best suited for medium to long term financial goals and typically deliver returns above regular money market instruments. They are available in Jamaican, US and other global currencies with minimum investment amount of US$10,000.
